November 2025 Trade Balance: What the data reveals for importers and exporters

November brought solid figures for Brazilian foreign trade. Official reports from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) show a month of strong activity, driven by agribusiness and the recovery of the manufacturing industry.

The 3rd week of November 2025 brought:

  • Trade flow: US$ 12.1 billion

  • Exports: US$ 7 billion

  • Imports: US$ 5.1 billion

  • Partial balance for the month: surplus of US$ 4.1 billion

  • Monthly total: US$ 38.4 billion in trade flow

The performance confirms an important trend for companies operating in international trade: even in a more protectionist global environment, Brazil maintains competitiveness in key sectors.

1. Exports remain strong.

Exports continue to be supported by the following sectors:

  • Agriculture

  • Processed foods

  • Manufacturing industry (growth above what was projected at the beginning of the quarter)

This indicates good expansion opportunities for exporting companies focused on emerging and traditional markets.

2. Imports indicate a warming of the industry.

Despite the slowdown in the extractive industry, the increase in imports of capital goods and industrial inputs indicates positive production expectations for 2026.

3. What does this mean for Enterprise companies and partners?

  • More cargo in circulation = greater need for multimodal planning.

  • Currency volatility persists , requiring more frequent revisions to logistics costs.

  • Major players are bringing forward shipments to 2026 due to the global increase in tariffs (the subject of the next article).

Conclusion

Brazil ends November with strength in foreign trade and clear movements of logistical expansion. For those who import or export, the key points are: route planning + multimodal strategy + risk control .

Enterprise offers precisely this integrated view — which brings predictability and cost reduction even in volatile scenarios.
